Before office hour signups were put on the internet, students used to leave class mid-period to stand in line to reserve a one-on-one 30 minute slot with a recruiter.  The lines for the consulting firm office hours were horrendously long, and spots would be gobbled up within minutes of being posted.  Weekend Warriors is a club at Michigan that does crazy things like sky dive and white water kayaking and tobogganing during the weekends.
