"Law of Diminishing Returns" - MSJ 9/3/2005

Let’s start with the vocab.  “MLP” stands for Michigan Leadership Program, which is the week and a half long orientation program where you meet people and meet people and meet people.  “iMpact” is the school database where you can look up all kinds of info, including other students' resumes. In the first year, you’re put in a “section” with 70 other students and take all the core classes together.  As you can imagine, you regurgitate the same introductory conversation until you’re blue in the face.  Oh, and our heroine’s name is based on our school’s beloved hometown, Ann Arbor.
